DIGNITY DAY 2018 – KONGENS HAVE – 9. JUNI

DIGNITY DAY er dagen, hvor hele familien samles omkring god musik, sjove aktiviteter for børn og voksne, lækker mad og drikke. Alt sammen for at sætte fokus på en sag som kan være hård og svær at tale om; nemlig tortur.

Langt de fleste torturofre bliver i deres hjemland eller flygter til nabolandet. Her gør de alt for at genopbygge deres liv. Men med alvorlige fysiske og psykiske traumer kan det være svært uden professionel hjælp. I DIGNITY arbejder vi for, at torturofre i nærområderne får adgang til god og professionel rehabilitering. Og det er det arbejde, vi sætter fokus på med DIGNITY Day 2018.

DIGNITY DAY is the day where we bring together the entire family to listen to great music, have fun in the Kids’ Area and enjoy good street food and organic micro beer. We do this to raise awareness of our fight against torture and to raise money for our work.

Most victims of torture stay in their home country or flee to neighbouring countries where they struggle to rebuild their lives. However, physical and psychological traumas can make their lives really hard if they don’t get the proper treatment.
In DIGNITY we work hard to make sure that victims of torture get the right treatment as fast as possible and this work is the main focus of DIGNITY DAY 2018.
